AnjadheWhat Anjadhe costs
Anjadhe is free during the closed alpha. The plan after it is a one-time license of about $79 with a year of updates, then paid upgrades if you want later years. There is no subscription for the app and no account. Everyone who installs during the alpha keeps the app free for good. Hosted extras (web search through Anjadhe Connect, Anjadhe Cloud models) keep a free monthly allowance; only usage beyond it would ever be paid, and that stays optional.
Claim your alpha license
Open Settings → License and press Claim alpha license, or use the "Claim your free alpha license" step on the Home checklist. Enter an email address to issue it to. That address is the only thing sent to Anjadhe, and it exists so the same key can be issued to you again: on another Mac, or after a reinstall, claim again with the same address and you get the same key back.
The result is a small signed key saved on your Mac. It keeps that Mac on every future release once the alpha closes and a trial period applies to new installs.
Already have a key
Settings → License also takes a key directly: paste it into the box and press Apply key, or Open file… if it came as a file. The card then shows who it was issued to, when, and how long updates run.
What a license does
A license names your class (alpha or paid) and decides which releases the updater may install: an alpha license gets every release; a paid license gets releases dated within its year of updates. No feature is ever locked. An install without a license, after the alpha closes and its trial ends, keeps working exactly as it is and simply stops being offered newer builds; the titlebar update pill then says so and opens Settings → License.
Verification happens on your Mac with a public key. Nothing is looked up online to check a license, and nothing about you is sent when it is verified. The server code that issues keys is public, like the rest of Anjadhe Connect.
Removing a license
Settings → License → Remove from this Mac forgets the key on that Mac only. It is not revoked and nothing is sent; enter it again any time.
